Second: Image of the Beast pt.2 Mankind's Path Toward the Image

Q: What path has led humanity away from their Creator and susceptible to the Mark of the Beast one day?

  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, 

and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.

1 Samuel 15:23

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.... 

for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

Revelation 18:21.23

1) Because that, when they knew God,  they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; 

--but became vain in their imaginations, 

--and their foolish heart was darkened.
...Who changed the truth of God into a lie...
Romans 1:21,25

2) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
--And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God
into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.....
and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator,....

3) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the

lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: ...for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another...
